Nigel Farage votes ‘pork scratching over biscuits any day’.
Nigel Farage said he would pick “pork scratchings over biscuits any day” after he was asked to follow Jeremy Corbyn ’s lead and name his favourite teatime treat.
Mr Corbyn ultimately chose shortbread, but insisted he generally avoided biscuits because he was “totally anti-sugar on health grounds”.
Mr Farage told the Loose Women programme on ITV that he preferred something a bit more savoury.
He said: “I have to be honest with you, I’m more of a bar snack man really.
“I’d go for pork scratchings over biscuits any day.”
