Pub review: A great local pub, friendly atmosphere, good beer, hidden from general routes of travel, so therefore full of locals. Traditional two-sided Public and Saloon bars. There is a regular darts league, a big screen for football and live music on Saturday nights. As you can see there are loads of things on the shelves behind the bar including football ephemera, an aerial picture of the pub and a signed photograph of George Cole as Arthur Daley in Minder!

I would love to buy some of those pork scratchings – can I buy directly or do I have to buy through you ? – otherwise it’s a long way to go as you guys are over 150 miles away ! – will visit one day though.
