The King Harold, Harold Wood, Essex – Pub Review

Scratching location: hidden in a basket with other snacks. my short-sightedness could not spot them immediately, so I had to ask. success!
Pub review: The only pub in Harold Wood. Two sides to the pub cater for both the young and old. The left side (lounge) caters to a younger crowd and as such is a busier affair. The right hand (public) side is more for the more regular type of pub goer.

Our night was spent in the ‘old man’ public, right-hand side and was fairly pleasant for a less than busy Friday night. The locals were more happy to have the odd word with us, which helps in a new pub.

An honest pub with no frills. Public side, no fruit machine, TV, or pool table which is good. A dart board, and potentially a new darts team required, see bar staff for details.
Pickled eggs? Not on sale.
