When is the right time?

The annual question is floating around playgrounds all over the UK... When is the right time for companies to be putting Christmas stuff in their shops?

Personally I always thought that 30 seconds after Halloween seemed like the 'norm'. There are no other celebrations between Haloween & Christmas so why not use the 'seasonal' aisle/shelf to start selling things for the next celebration. But what if there's no designated aisle? Like on the internet, Like on Amazon. Well, then all bets are off.

September seems a bit early to me, but what do I know about marketing? I do know about scratchings, and I do know about scratchings going stale before the best before date. So, as we always say, buy scratchings with the longest best before date.

Don't buy out of date scratchings either, even if they are cheap. Well, unless you don't mind playing scratchings roulette. Opening the bag and not knowing if you are going to be pleased of sickened. I tried buying out of date scratchings, you can read about it here. Let's just say, if they are cheap enough, you might be OK.

My advice, buy the calendar now, and eat them now!
