In search of the perfect pub: what makes a great British boozer?
We should just go to as many pubs as possible. Don’t stick with the same one if you can help it.
Obviously, your local, is the exception to the rule, go somewhere near to home, so that you can walk home.
But other than that, all (yes all) pubs should be tried at least once. Even the ones that look a bit dodgy from the outside can be absolutely marvellous when you get inside. It’s not just about the atmosphere, it’s about the people, the decor, the beer, the prices, the sights and smells, all of these things go in the pot, we stir it around in our brains and out pops a feeling. Ahhh, pubs. There’s nothing like a pub.
