Vintage ‘Golden Scratchings’ Pork Scratchings Beer Mat

Found on eBay.

I’d never heard of this brand until I saw the auction listing on eBay. It seems funny that in the 70s & 80s, to me it seemed like there were very few companies making pork scratchings. So I thought that I knew most of the brands available. But I was wrong. Perhaps it because I didn’t live in or around the black country when I was young and therefore didn’t really see the full range of porky delights the area had to offer.

This lack of knowledge is now a good thing. I know there are brands out there that I have never heard of. So my mission is to hunt them down!
