Well this is an odd bar to include in this section, but I don’t really care, it’s good enough for me. The bar is The Yorkshire Grey in Fitzrovia, this is an area just north of Oxford Street in London. The story goes something like this… …Rather than popping to the pub this very hot July evening, I decided to sit in my back garden and finish a book I had borrowed. The book is called ‘The Yes Man’ by Danny Wallace. Getting towards the end I spot a classic ‘in situ’ picture of our hairy friends, with 2 pints of unknown lager. As I read on, I find that the pub in question is ‘The Yorkshire Grey’ in Fitzrovia London. So I put 2 & 2 together and realised I could tenuously put this in the bars section of the site. By the way, the book is very good and I laughed quite a lot.
I will email Danny Wallace to ask permission to freely promote his excellent book, but if anyone else other than him is reading this, he didn’t definitely say no (he might you know, seeing as it’s past 31st December, it’s a possibility and if you have no idea what I’m talking about, just read the book), so I have gone ahead regardless.
