Scratching location: Mr Porky’s Pork Scratchings, extremely well displayed in a number of baskets at the bar.
Pub review: A nice small traditional London pub, not like all the tourist traps you generally find in and around Covent Garden. There are a few benches outside and the street is fairly quiet, so drinking al fresco is quite pleasant. Inside the pub, it is jam-packed with London ‘bits and bobs’ collected over the years. The bar staff were fast and polite which makes a bit of a change for London. Definitely worth a visit.
Additional note, the minimum spend using a credit or debit card is £10.00. So if your drinks total is less than this, you get the difference back as change! Give plastic, receive beer and money, this must be the future.
