Pub review: A fantastic London pub. The first thing you notice is that the pub is on a corner, usual enough, but the bar is on the window side walls of the pub, rather than the other way around. A tiny bar with a good selection of lagers and bitters. Usually, there is a guest ale, always worth a sample. really nice interior, lovely Victorian tiles no kitsch. No Scratchings, but worth a mention because it’s one of my favourite London pubs. On the plus side, they do sell pickled eggs, which more than makes up for the lack of pork scratchings. One day this pub will be added to our new effort egg pub!
